Beginning the 1941-42 school year, the High School was moved to Crab Orchard with some students going to the Waynesburg High School. The original building was replaced in 1938 with a stone building containing six classrooms, an office and a library. The stone came from a quarry on what is now McMullin Road. The School was built with W.P.A. funds. Built In 1963, a modern kitchen, an all-purpose room, 3 additional class rooms, rest rooms and an office were added.
